The rectifier charges and maintains batteries, with adjustable output current and voltage, and controllable rectifier temperature and current of every fan. Rectifier units can operate in parallel in a system of up to 32 units. The device is mounted in a standard 19" (2H) rack. The portable rectifier module comes in a smaller case, but with the same electrical characteristics.

SYSTEM FOR PARALLEL REVITALIZATION OF A BATTERY SET

B3000 is a microprocessor-controlled device used for independent revitalization of individual cells of a battery set.

The system comprises of charger RV801, discharger DISI4815 and external power supply SSW-55, providing automatic cycling of the batteries, according to the user-defined parameters.

The system can be connected to a computer, directly or after operation, ensuring direct survey of the state of the batteries.

System current can be raised from 80 to 200A per cell by connecting an external set for charging.

During the revitalization process, the user defines all the parameters for each individual cell and the whole set, containing up to 31 cells.

The parameters that are monitored are transient voltage, current and capacity of each cell individually, and also the temperature of the battery set. After each cycle, the change in capacity is measured. The results can be read on an LCD, or presented graphically on a computer, where capacity can be compared for each cell in three cycles.

The system is autonomous and after start-up no intervention by the user is necessary until the user-defined cycles are performed. All parameters are adjustable in the software, including the temperature curves for different types of batteries.
